Innovating for yourself!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! A non-business post for the holiday!

Lets talk about an exciting subject, innovating on your life for your own happiness. Unless you are OCD or extremely neurotic, odds are that a little bit of change is good for you.
Changing things up can help you find your passions, make tasks less tedious, meet new people, and break the monotony; it can be fun. Also, if you get paid to improve the way you make others money, why not create solutions for your own life? The best part is you have the rest of your life to figure things out, and you will.

Innovation is more than inspiration, it is methodology and persistence too. It's hardest to innovate on things we are too used to and things we don't know anything about. Sadly, we are the way we live and tend to know little about ourselves. So how can we approach making ourselves better?

I would start by brainstorming, if you have a significant other then do this together. Brainstorm for pain points in your life, how to improve your relationships, and how to spend your free time. What can you do with that? Pick a manageable amount of projects and execute them. You never know; you might invent something ridiculous that can make you rich, live more comfortably forever, spice up your relationships, or weed out something you hate from your life.

After you've brainstormed, you research and learn about the subject. If necessary, you can start over when you have game-changing information. Establish a goal and share it, then put some time into achieving it. You never know what you'll discover, but I guarantee it's worth the effort because you are worth the effort.

Innovation isn't just for the workplace and we all have free time. You can innovate in your kitchen, bedroom, living room, backyard, parties, in your family interactions, etc. Find new ways to reduce boredom, make more significant friendships, feel happier, and improve your lifestyle. I invite you to learn something and to try to do things better. Be entrepreneurial, it's easier than you think.
